If you are looking for a way to get free traffic to your website, you might have heard of TrafficG. TrafficG is a traffic exchange site that allows you to view other members’ websites and get credits that you can use to show your own website to them. But is TrafficG a good traffic exchange site? In this review, we will look at the features, pros and cons of TrafficG and see what other users have to say about it.

What is TrafficG?

TrafficG is a traffic exchange site that was established in 2001. It claims to have over 600,000 members and to deliver over 8,000 unique visitors per day. TrafficG offers various services for online marketers, such as:

  • Traffic exchange: You can surf other members’ websites and earn credits that you can use to show your own website to them. You can also buy credits or upgrade your account for more exposure. The exchange ratio is 1:1, which means you get one credit for every website you view. You can also choose your interest channel and geographic targeting to get more relevant visitors.
  • Banner exchange: You can place a small banner in the TrafficG exchange frame and earn credits that you can use to show your own banner on other members’ websites. The exchange ratio is 2:1, which means you get one credit for every two banners you view. You can also buy banner impressions or upgrade your account for more exposure.
  • Referrals: You can earn credits and commissions by referring other people to join TrafficG. You can earn up to 5 levels of referral rewards depending on your account level. You can also access various promotional tools and materials to help you with your referrals.
  • Directory listing: You can list your website in the TrafficG directory and search engine for free. You can also browse other members’ websites by category and keyword.
  • Special promotions: You can access various special offers and discounts from TrafficG and its partner sites, such as JoeGeo, WebmasterQuest, AdsVert.com, FreeRotator, Free Classified Ads, Blog Promotion, and more.

What are the pros of TrafficG?

Some of the benefits of using TrafficG for your traffic needs are:

  • Free to join and use: You can join TrafficG for free and start getting free traffic to your website right away. You don’t need to pay anything unless you want to buy credits or upgrade your account.
  • Easy to use: You can easily set up your account and add your website and banner to the exchange system. You can also surf other members’ websites using a simple browser window with a timer and captcha. You can also track your progress and statistics using the dashboard.
  • Variety of services: You can use TrafficG not only for traffic exchange but also for banner exchange, referrals, directory listing, and special promotions. You can also access other services from partner sites using your TrafficG account.
  • Quality of traffic: You can get unique visitors from different countries and niches using TrafficG. You can also choose your interest channel and geographic targeting to get more relevant visitors. You can also expect low bounce rates and high engagement rates from the traffic you receive.

What are the cons of TrafficG?

Some of the drawbacks of using TrafficG for your traffic needs are:

  • Outdated design: The design of TrafficG is very old-fashioned and not mobile-friendly. You might have difficulty navigating the site or viewing the websites on your smartphone. The site also looks unprofessional and unappealing compared to other modern traffic exchange sites.
  • Slow loading: The loading time of the surfing page and the websites you view is very slow compared to other traffic exchange sites. This might affect your surfing experience and efficiency. The site also uses a lot of pop-ups and ads that might annoy you or interfere with your surfing.
  • Low conversion rate: The conversion rate of the traffic you receive from TrafficG might be very low compared to other sources of traffic. This is because most of the visitors are not interested in your offer or niche but are only surfing for credits. They might also be distracted by other banners or ads on the surfing page or frame.

What do other users say about TrafficG?

TrafficG has received mixed reviews from other users online. On ReviewStream, TrafficG has a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars from one review. The reviewer says that TrafficG is a good traffic exchange site but complains about the slow loading time and the long waiting time for credits.

On LeadsLeap, TrafficG has a rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars from 10 reviews. The positive reviews say that TrafficG is a reliable and easy to use traffic exchange site that delivers quality traffic. The negative reviews say that TrafficG is outdated and ineffective for conversions.

On social media platforms, such as Reddit and Twitter, TrafficG has also received mixed feedback from other users. Some users say that TrafficG is a good traffic exchange site that helps them get free traffic and referrals. Others say that TrafficG is a waste of time and money that does not bring any results.

Conclusion: Is TrafficG worth it for traffic exchange?

TrafficG is a traffic exchange site that allows you to get free visitors to your website by viewing other members’ websites. TrafficG also offers other services, such as banner exchange, referrals, directory listing, and special promotions.

TrafficG has some advantages, such as free to join and use, easy to use, variety of services, and quality of traffic. However, TrafficG also has some disadvantages, such as outdated design, slow loading, and low conversion rate.

TrafficG has received mixed reviews from other users online. Some users have been satisfied with TrafficG’s traffic exchange and other services, while others have been disappointed with TrafficG’s design and performance.

Ultimately, whether TrafficG is worth it for your traffic needs depends on your goals and expectations. You should do your own research and compare different options before deciding to use TrafficG or any other traffic exchange site.

Winterplay Studios is a digital marketing company that offers a variety of digital marketing services. Originally starting off as website traffic provider, they’ve send branched off to provide other services like Instagram followers and backlinks. In our Winterplay Studios review, we’ll cover most of their services while offering our opinion on a few services we’ve used.

Traffic Campaigns

We’ll start off with Winterplay Studio’s review with their traffic campaigns as this is the one most people are probably buying. We purchased their campaign for a test and it turned out much easier to use than we had expected. Although we had our doubts in terms of the usefulness of their traffic which we’ll explain below.

We purchased a Tier 1 traffic plan which drove around 200 visitors each day to our website. The campaign lasted for 30 days an automatically stopped after 30th day without us having to do anything. There were no additional payments needed other than the initial $35 dollars we paid. We have the option of purchasing a monthly plan with them but opted not to for the purpose of trying it out.

They provide a URL shortener like bit.ly to help us see the number of visitors they provide to us each day, but we primarily used Google Analytics due to it’s superior reporting abilities.

The first thing we’ll say is that while their reporting tool indeed indicated around 200 visitors per day, in Google Analytics, it only reported around 130-150/day. This is a bit lower than what they advertised so we reached out to their support team, who indicated to us that this is due to how Google labels visitors vs the tool used. Support told us most users that have Adblock or other privacy browser add-ons may not be properly labeled by Google Analytics, especially when the browser add-on prevents JavaScript from properly rendering.

We felt this was a reasonable explanation because Google Analytics does use JavaScript (you have to copy & past a JavaScript code to your website to install it initially), however we’re a bit doubtful at the volume of users who has Adblock turned on. Getting 130-150/day vs the advertised 200/day represents a bit gap, but we let it slide because their traffic service is pretty cheap even if we’re only getting 100/day. At $35 for even just 3,000 visitors, we’re paying less than $0.01/visitor, so no complaints there.

Unfortunately during our traffic plan, we didn’t make any sales. We suspect this is primarily due to the traffic quality, but we did receive a some email opt-ins. For the price of a few cafe lattes, we felt their traffic service wasn’t a waste of money and provided some value for us.

Overall we think you get what you pay for with their traffic service. It’s a very cheap traffic service that’s easy to order and setup but the results are not as high in quality as paying the big bucks at other providers like Instagram Ads. Speaking of Instagram followers, we’ll talk about that next

Instagram Followers

In 2019 they began rolling out their Instagram follower service. We reached out to them for more information, and they advised these followers are provided via a 3rd party vendor. We purchased 500 followers for a plan and it seems most of the accounts are inactive and we saw some of the Instagram followers drop after a few weeks.

A month after our initial order for 500 followers and we were left with around 350 followers. We paid a little under $40 using their 10% discount code, so it was around $0.10 per follower.

We think this is a good value service, however it’s advisable to understand what you’re getting. For $40, you’re not going to get go from an Instagram account with zero followers to one with an active following, that wouldn’t be realistic. What we ended up getting is a bigger follower base so it’s easier to get more active followers organically.

We believe half the followers we receive were inactive while the other half were probably bots, hence why so many dropped off. In the end the price was good enough that purchased 5k more followers to help build out our audience base.

We would recommend this service with a caveat to perspective customers that you need to understand what you’re getting. It takes a lot of effort to build a big Instagram following. Even after purchasing their service, it still takes quite a bit of work to build up your organic follower base.

We recommend the Instagram Service if:

1. You plan on continuing to publish stories and posts after purchasing, or
2. You need to increase your follower base in order to get more organic followers to like your posts

Backlinks

We didn’t purchase any backlink service from them as part of our review, primarily because when we had reached out to their support, they explained it well enough for us to understand what they’re offering. At the time of writing, they had two primary backlink services, which we’ll explain a bit below.

1) Contextual Backlinks: Think of these as backlinks within or next to an article. You provide them with a few keywords and they’ll build 50, 100, or 150 backlinks for you, depending on the plan. Each backlink will be anchored as a hyperlink in page with an article. They add the article to provide context around the keyword phrases, hence the name ‘contextual backlinks’. Support did tell us that the backlinks provided in this service is a mix of do-follow and no-follow links.

2) Guest Blog Posts: These are guest blog posts in private blog networks (PBN). Some PBNs are useless while others are helpful for increasing your Google rankings. We didn’t have an opportunity to test their Guest Blog Post services so we couldn’t test, but assuming it’s the good kind, you’re basically getting a blog post in a larger website that talks about your service (i.e., t-shirts) and in the article, there’s one or two backlinks back to your website. Winterplay Studios did guarantee these backlinks are permanent and do-follow.

We felt their contextual backlink service looks fine and price is decent, while the Guest Blog Post at the time of our test was $60/each, which is a bit more expensive then we would like. Their support offered us a 15% discount to try this, so if you plan on ordering, make sure to ask for a discount code to take advantage of the offer.

To conclude our Winterplay Studios review, we believe their services are well priced but how useful they are depends on what you plan on doing with it. We’ve tried to lay out the benefits to each offering while identifying when it would be useful and what we recommend. This is our Growtraffic.com Review as part of our series in reviewing the top website traffic providers. In this review, we’ll share our experiences after purchasing traffic from Grow Traffic

To start off, Growtraffic.com provides pop-under ads, similar to Traffic-Masters.net. This means customers who order traffic from them will have their websites shown as a pop-up ad hidden behind another website and shown when the cover site is closed.

For this campaign we purchased 10,000 visitors for $28. Customers who purchase their monthly plan will receive a 10% discount. We elected to do a 30 day traffic campaign to be consistent with the other tests we’ve run, and the landing we page we used is for a business service with email opt-in.

Growtraffic.com Price

First, taking a look at their prices, the cheapest plans start at $28 for 10,000, and goes up to $1,400 for 500,000 visitors. If you do the math. This is a CPM rate of $2.4/1,000 visitors to $2.8/1,000 visitors. This is extremely expensive, and most customers are probably better off just buying display advertising directly from Google Ads, which would likely results in much better conversion rates.

On pricing, we’ll shorten our view and decided to give them a 1/5, as this is one of the most expensive traffic providers we’ve received. Onto quality and reliability.

Growtraffic.com Reliability

We found Grow Traffic to be reliable and consistent with the vast majority of the other traffic providers we reviewed. Support answered our email promptly and we received confirmation emails after ordering. The ordering process was easy and fairly painless.

We have no reason to believe Growtraffic.com is illegitimate because from the campaign we received, the quality seemed consistent with pop under traffic, which we’ll cover below. Thus, we gave Grow Traffic a reliability rating of 4/5.

Growtraffic.com Quality

We felt Grow Traffic offered a good variety of targeting abilities, with many niches to choose from and countries get visitors from as well. We will note that the number of niches customers are able to select almost seemed too good to be true, and we’re not 100% convinced they’re actually able to fulfill some of these niches. For example, can they provide 500k visitors for auto rentals? If you believe they can fulfill what they allow customers to choose from, then from a targeted traffic perspective, we felt Grow Traffic is a good option.

Onto the more important on-page metrics, we noticed a significant bounce rate drop which is consistent with other pop under traffic providers we’ve tested previously, so we’re inclined to believe this isn’t bot. In terms of conversions, we did not receive any email opt-ins or sales, however that’s not unexpected given we’ve only ordered 10,000 visitors.

Overall we gave Grow Traffic’s quality score a 4/5 because of the optionality they provide customers with and ease of ordering. Although we are somewhat skeptical of how truly targeted their visitors are, just because the niches they provide seemed overly granular.

Conclusion

If you’re inclined to order popunder traffic, we would recommend Grow Traffic’s services. However at these prices, you’re paying the highest rates in the industry for pop unders, so unless you really want this type of ads, we highly recommend shopping around and get the biggest bang for your buck by reviewing our best traffic service provider list, which is updated regularly, or simply use a large ad network like Google Display Ads, or Outbrain.

Overall we give Grow Traffic a 3/5 for their decent delivery quality, but more pricey options.

]]>
As part of our ongoing series to review some of the most popular website traffic providers, we recently purchased an Alien Traffic website traffic service. Here is our Alien Traffic review (alientraffic.com)

As always, recommend readers read our full methodology to understand how we rate service providers. Below, we’ll review how we tested Alien Traffic’s service, which plans we picked and go through our ratings on Pricing, Reliability, and Quality.

Alien Traffic Review

Alien Traffic primarily offers website traffic services by using pop-under ads, as opposed to other methods like expired domains, redirects, or other grey methods. Pop-under ads are basically pop-ups but are hidden under another website. They work like the following: A visitor opens a poker betting website by clicking on a link. That link opens the poker betting website, but also a Alien Traffic customer website underneath it, meaning two windows are opened. When the visitor eventually closes the poker betting website, they’ll see the Alien Traffic website (in the form of a pop-under ad), and this gets counted as a visitor.

For the purpose of this test, we used a e-commerce website with an email opt-in form. This allows us to test on-page metrics like bounce rate, but also conversion rates for email signs-up, and purchases.

Alien Traffic Prices

We found the prices for Alien Traffic to be very expensive. To be clear, we used one time campaigns and did not count the 5% discount they provide when you order a monthly plan with them.

For the one time purchase, a traffic plan starts at $40 for 5,000 visitors and scale to $500 for 200,000 visitors. Meaning their range is anywhere from $0.8 / 1000 visitors, to $0.4/ 1000 visitors. This is one the more expensive and and comparable from purchasing from more reputable ad networks like Google Display Network, Media.net, or Outbrain, where you can essentially get very comparable cost per thousand pricing but much higher quality traffic in the form of display ads as opposed to pop-unders.

So on a pricing perspective, we were disappointed and found it to be more expensive than the vast majority of the website traffic providers we reviewed. We rated their pricing as 1/5.

Alien Traffic Reliability

We found their reliability to be much better than pricing. Traffic started within a day of placing the order and we didn’t experience any issues. For this test, we ordered their cheapest plan at $40 for 5,000 visitors.

On the reliability point, it should be noted that prior to ordering, it is not clear how quickly our traffic will be delivered. We didn’t know if we should expect all 5,000 visitors in one day or through a specific duration.

Well, we found out through messaging their support and watching our traffic campaign with Alien Traffic. It turns out that they deliver it within a 30 day window, however it may be fully delivered sooner than 30 days. This means if you ordered 200,000 visitors, it will take the full 30 days for you to receive all your traffic (spread out evenly), whereas we ordered 5,000 visitors, so we receive all the traffic we bought much more quickly.

For some prospective customers, this is a bad thing because it makes traffic less predictable. We generally recommend following a even distribution of visitors. In fact, this is an industry norm for those who has used Google Adwords for Facebook Ads, nearly everyone generally sets a daily traffic (or budget), which results in some predictable traffic results. So we found the unpredictability of Alien Traffic’s services as a turnoff.

At the end, we elected to give Alien Traffic a 3/5 for reliability primarily because of decent support to our emails, quick traffic start time, however somewhat disappointing predictability in the delivery of results.

Alien Traffic Quality

Lastly we’ll review alientraffic.com’s traffic quality. We generally gauge quality by determining how well customers can target their audience, what the bounce rate/visitor duration look like, and ultimately, conversion rates.

We’ll skip the niceties and say that we were disappointed in all three fronts. Customers can expect to see a meaningful drop in bounce rates, as we did when we ran out test campaign using Alien Traffic’s review campaign. This is mainly because they drive most of their traffic using pop-under ads, which naturally provides lower bounce rates.

Secondly, we were disappointed in their targeting ability. There are no options to choose to receive only U.S. based visitors, nor choosing visitors who are interested in our specific website. In fact, Alien traffic has no targeting ability at all. When ordering, we were only allowed to select how much traffic we want to buy with no options for niche, topic, keywords, or location.

Lastly, we received no email sign-up and no sales. However, we will urge modest optimism because in testing other traffic providers, we have seen that pop under ads do work for some landing pages. So we’re hopeful that customers who choose their larger plans may receive email sign ups or sales. Overall we feel their quality is a 2/5.

Conclusion

In the end, non of us felt that Alien Traffic was really worth it for the price we paid and the traffic we received. We could have very easily paid a little more for display ads and had the full targeting capabilities of a larger ad network instead. We believe Alien Traffic’s service is a solid 2 out of 5, the saving grace being that we do have believe pop under ads do work for some cases, it’s just very difficult to justify when there are much cheaper traffic providers out there.

Anyways, we hope this has been helpful for Alien Traffic’s prospective customers. We recommend checking out our rating of website traffic providers make an informed decision when selecting a provider.
